The "golden hour" is such a joy to shoot in. Don't fear the sunlight behind your subject. It makes a beautiful halo effect. Get a good reflector and watch the magic happen!

This image was shot in my home, using a strobe flash, but the halo effect on her face was created by using a handful of string lights with jewels attached. I placed it right in front of my 50mm lens, with the focal point on her eye. Lovely magic!
